Luckily, we got a table for 5 without reservation. It was packed on a regular Tuesday. Service was really good. The nice lady took time to explain the share dining concept and had a lot of knowledge for the wines. The food was excellent! We had a great last night in Lisbon.
Firstly, we want to thank the staff as they were very accommodating, warm and welcoming, specifically Ricardo. We had mistakenly arrived the night before our booking (yes I booked the wrong day). Nevertheless Ricardo ensured that this wasn't going to be an issue, and that they would fit us in.The food was magnificent, the selection of wines was tasteful and their locally sourced produce made us feel all the more embraced. From the menu - we would highly recommend the cabbage, prawn toast and the scallops. We will absolutely be dining here again when we're next visiting Lisbon.Thank you for your hospitality.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends at this adorable restaurant. Great for shring plates and wine selection. Very friendly staff with nice recommandations !!
Relatives that live in Lisbon brought us here for our mother's birthday, saying it's their favourite restaurant in Lisbon, and it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly with great personalities and were able to quickly accommodate us when we realised we hadn't booked for enough people. The restaurant felt special but was at the same time very relaxed. The food was amazing. The blue cheese cabbage, tuna tataki and prawn toast were highlights, as were all of the desserts. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in Lisbon.
This was a true five star experience as the food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. This is not a fancy spot but has pronominal food and service. It was evident it was a popular spot as every seat was filled by 8pm.From the moment we walked in the door our waitress helped us understand the ever-changing menu. The dishes came out in a timely fashion and each was delicious. The Somalia brought our dining to the next level by letting us try our wine pick before bringing us the bottle and made sure we had wine and food to enjoy throughout the night. This was the most European dining experience I’ve had as we were not rushed to finish our dinner, wine, and dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant as a must-try when in Lisbon!
I go every time I visit Lisbkn. Exquisite menu, unique tastes. The two waiters that we had really made our dinner special. We went to celebrate my mom’s birthday and everyone did their best.Whatever we tried was simply mouth watering. Despite being crowded, the service was very fast. We also tried the “Green” wine which was surprisingly delicious. Very light as a taste. If you go for dinner and late there is a risk that some dishes will no longer be available (as it happened to us) but fear not, anything on the menu is worth it.We ordered a lot: Tuna fillet (excellent), Ribs (ordered twice because were too good), ravioli, salad and duck and one croquets per person. The portions are normal to small depending on how hungry you might be.The desserts: A must have!! so leave some space.
I would def visit Lisbon again just to have Estrela da Bica. It is fusion but it’s the definition of fusion cuisine done right. Every ingredient played in perfect harmony! Staffwere super nice and happy. Strongly recommend.
Going to Estrela da Bica was a recommendation from a book we have. When we arrived, we were skeptical about the place it was a little small but very traditionally Portuguese. It’s a small restaurant with excellent service. Ricardo took care of us for the night, making lots of good jokes and showing a great attitude!Regarding the food, the restaurant focuses on sharing plates placed at the center of the table. We tried multiple dishes: the shrimp starter was really good, as was the tuna tartare, and the ribs were perfectly cooked. The only issue was that the steak took much longer than the other dishes around 40 minutes, so keep that in mind. Additionally, they only had non-alcoholic beers available. Besides that, it’s a great place with very fair prices and excellent service!
